Michelle & Jody at Magnolia Plantation

Had the rarest of the rare to shoot!  Michelle and Jody asked me to do a portrait session at Magnolia Plantation down on the coast.  Rather than shooting a wedding I was doing wedding portraiture in one of the most beautiful places on earth.  What an amazing couple and an equally amazing day.

Alllllllllmost Fall Colors.

My son wanted to go fishing today for his teacher workday....  I figured it was a great chance to spend some time along some mountain streams and shoot the fall colors.  Well fall is apparently either a flop this year or hasn't peaked yet....  Regardless - the weather was great and I like the shots even if they aren't screaming fall colors just yet.

Note to self... clean your sensor.  I must have been shooting in a dust storm this past weekend.  Lots of clicks to go before these pass final inspection.

Marianne & Andy 10.26.13

Today I had the pleasure of spending the day with Marianne and Andy up at Gap Creek Baptist Church neat Jones Gap.  I love fall weddings up in the mountains and today was one of the best ever!  Such a fun, fun couple!
