Taking a break for a week.

What does a pro photographer do when he takes a week off from work?  He goes on vacation to shoot pictures  :-)

I talked my amazing girlfriend Lindsey into coming to TN with me for a 4 day getaway at a cabin in Wears Valley TN (Bearadise for Two was perfect for us).  I get to play during the magic hours at sunrise and sunset...  the rest of the  vacation is a vacation.

Taking my son on a trip through my youth.

I just had a 5 day excursion with my son through the backroads of TN and NC hunting for salamanders and crawfish.  Along the way we saw some amazing wildlife that did not live in the streams and some amazing scenery.  All pictures in this post were taken with the little Nikon point and shoot that Ashton Kutcher advertises for...
